Inside the Martial Spirit Hall, Shi Lang was sitting under a pavilion, beside him a few jars of spirit wine were laying and in his lap there was a Qin. This instrument looked very simple but it was a gift from Fairy Moon Jade.

He looked at the moon and stroked the strings. When he was comprehending the laws of slaughter, his thoughts went back to the day when he and Amelia were attacked by the enemy and he almost died. Recalling the pain and the suffering he went through that day he comprehended the slaughter laws to another level.

However, he was overwhelmed by the memories of his loved one. So, he decided to come out of the seclusion. In his courtyard, there was a small pavilion, and it just happened to be the full moon night.

His fingers ran along the strings gently and soft music began to pour out. As he went deeper in the recollection, his music became more painful. The sound was very subtle, but it was spreading around to other courtyards.

Lady Yao was cultivating on the red peak when she sensed a vibration. She opened her eyes and came out of her cave dwelling. She looked in the direction of the inner court where the vibration originated from and furrowed. She focused on the following vibrations and gradually closed her eyes.

A few moments later she saw a couple standing on a battlefield wearing black uniforms, fighting enemies left and right with great proficiency. She recognized the young man, it was Shi Lang, and when she looked at the young lady, she was confused but when she saw the two people fighting and protecting each other with a smile on their faces, she realized that it was his wife.

She was entranced, and she was not the only one, the entire inner court was the same. Everyone in the inner court was standing frozen as they had been enveloped in the scenery created by Shi Lang's visualization. Everything seemed to be a story of love, until a demon appeared, and killed Amelia.

Tears fell from the eyes of the people when they saw Shi Lang cradling the young lady in his arms as he wailed and shed tears of blood. They could feel his agony, this was something that made their hearts tremble. They saw his heart turn cold and he became a killing monster, but then they saw him kneeling to his master and the ice on his heart thawed a little.

The song came to an end, and everyone woke up from the dream. Only those from the three houses felt a little the rest of the people sympathized with Shi Lang.

Ouyang Jing stood up and wanted to go out to check on Shi Lang, when she saw a spiritual energy vortex gather above his courtyard. She was surprised, and then the elders appeared in the void. They cast a spiritual barrier on the sides to protect the Terran.

Tian Long and Fairy Moon Jade met with Tong Bai, and she took them both to her house.
