Chapter 267 Unescapable Fate!
When Draco appeared in front of Alexander, the first thing he did was laugh.
He laughed, then laughed, and laughed some more.
His laugh, which was evil due to his nature but unexpected at the same time, confused Alexander to no end.
"What are you laughing at?" he asked.
"Haha, don't you think it's funny?" Draco looked at him and asked with a smile that was the remnant of his long laugh.
"What is?"
"I had many opportunities to kill you, yet I've never done it, and now after us being a semblance of partners, I have to do it in order to save you."
"We were enemies, then we were companions, then we ascended together, and now we both share the same burden, yet, even though all of that happened, I still have to kill you." Draco said.
"Don't you think it's funny?" He replied.
"Heh, now that I think about it." Alexander shook his head with a smile.
"But…" He stopped.
"Why did it have to be me who dies in the end?" Alexander asked.
"It's an inescapable fate, Origin." Draco shook his head with a smile.
"Now let's get this over with, I still have another one to take care off."
"Yeah…"
{Silent Death}
{Devouring}
'In the end… You were devoured by me.' Draco thought to himself.
This conclusion hurt his heart.
Although Alexander was going to reincarnate as a deva and had a chance to surpass who he was currently, it was still weird for Draco to kill someone he thought of as a rival.
The countless warnings and events he had with this anomaly made him think of him very highly, unlike all others.
Who would have thought?
Who would have thought it would be this hard?
'Heh." Draco shook his head once again.
"In the end, the strong wins." He said as he looked in the direction of Leona.
And a second later, he disappeared.
"You came? Let's get this over with." The second Draco appeared in front of Leona, and the celestial of Majesty showed her resolution as her eyes seemed ready to accept death and restart anew.
Her trust in her leader and rival was beyond explanation, but her eyes showed it all.
"Leona, Oh Leona." Draco spoke.
{Silent Death}
"You're indeed a good subordinate." He said.
And after that, he disappeared.
It was time to form another round of devas, and for Leona and Alexander, he had a very special mix in mind.
He was planning to give birth to them using their own authority alongside another one and a phenomenon, but for that to happen, he had to wait for the fusion and birth of new phenomena to happen.
Not because he couldn't use the phenomena while they were fusing, in fact, he could use them normally, but because he wanted to make use of the new phenomena that will be born to shape his very rivals with his own hands.
He wasn't pleased with the previous state; he was improving way too fast for them to approach him, and if he wanted to be honest, he enjoyed having a couple ants trying to crawl up to his mountain, thus, he was willing to spend a little effort on them.
Hopefully, they come off stronger than they were and if luck is on their side, they could catch up to him and be useful on the side.
But truthfully speaking, they had absolutely no chance of standing side by side to him ever again, all they could do was try to stand behind him.
On the other hand, Draco didn't put much mind into the other celestials;
Life, darkness and the others he wasn't much in contact with nor had respect for, he only gave them back their life with their own authorities and called it quits.
But when it came to love, he was kind enough to throw in the authority of beauty.
Leona and Alexander had to wait a couple months for them to be revived, but their progress would be so explosive they would surpass the ones who were already revived in no time.
When it came to the previously revived, Joie, Wine, Scholar, and Ash, all of them had managed to reach the level of a lower celestial at the very least.
Joie and Wine were high celestials, having fully regained their previous might, but the other two were slightly lagging behind, but in their eyes, this was more than enough progress in a couple months.
Their chosen ones had ascended through the towers that Draco had spawned all over the realm.
One could find at least one in every continent, and then realm at the moment had millions of continents, which directly translated to that same amount of towers or more.
As long as one reached the Origin Emperor level, they could take their chances to become a celestial, but as always, it was a hard mission to accomplish.
The deva island was now a fun place to be around, it had gotten bigger with a couple buildings to change airs.
After Wine and the other 2 had come, every day was a fun day to be alive in, ever now and then, the old devas and the new ones gather around to drink and have fun.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Stories are told and the young ones learn from the old ones.
This had only gotten better when the chosen ones had ascended, and it had to be said, the devas sure knew how to choose.
Aside from being mature and equipped with strong personalities, they mostly resembled their own devas.
Joie had chosen a young man who looked like royalty. Rich blond hair and a calm demeanor?
His background was the 8th prince of a large empire that had recently risen.
With the accelerated time, the young man had gone on to conquer everything and after becoming emperor, he had expanded his reach to over a hundred continents.
His legacy was one that would be recorded in history and Joie was beyond proud of his achievements.
But the others had chosen ones just as amazing, if not better.
