"Are you sure this spatial tunnel is stable?" Su Yen asked the Space Eating Spider through voice transmission.

"Your Majesty, you can trust me," the Spider responded confidently while walking beside him.

He had transformed into an old man using a walking stick. As a beast, he had a strong recovery ability.

With the injury he sustained from the battle with Su Yen, if he were human, he would be bedridden for six months at the least.

Su Yen and his men walked deeper inside the Divine Stone mine. The air inside the narrow tunnel was chaotic, and the ground beneath them trembled vehemently as if it were unstable.

After walking for another hour, they arrived at the innermost part of the mine. In the distance, they saw a crack in the space with chaotic energy around it.

"Your Majesty, that's the spatial tunnel," Patriarch Li announced with slight apprehension in his voice.

They had lost thousands of people just in the hope of finding out what was on the other side of the tunnel, but after witnessing the horror of the chaotic tunnel, they abandoned the thought of visiting the other side of their city. And now His Majesty was trying to venture on such a perilous journey.

Su Yen knew what was going on in the mind of the old patriarch but did not care. He was not like them, and they could not fathom his might.

When they arrived before the spatial crack, they all felt a powerful pull, trying to draw them inside the spatial tunnel. But with their cultivation, they could resist it.

Su Yen turned to Commander Kai. "I leave the city in your hands. Don't disappoint me."

"Your Majesty, I promise not to disappoint you," Commander Kai fell to his knees and shouted.

He was just a fortunate soldier selected for this expedition. His greatest pride was walking with the Majesty, and when His Majesty asked who would stay back to manage the city, he did not hesitate to volunteer himself for the great cause. As long as it was for the greatness of the Pagoda Empire, he was ready to sacrifice himself.

Su Yen looked at Kai, nodded slightly, and turned to look at the spatial crack. Since he arrived outside the Lotus World by a stroke of luck or mistake, he wouldn't return until he explored everything around his world.

From everything he found so far, he knew there was a huge secret and conspiracy around the Lotus World and the Ancient Battlefield, and only with enough preparation could they stand a chance to fight back.

"Take the lead," Su Yen commanded the Space Eating Spider.

"Yes, Your Majesty." He nodded and stepped into the spatial crack.

Looking at the old man who used a cane as a third leg, everyone had solemn expressions on their faces. Most especially, Patriarch Li wanted to see how His Majesty would cross such a horrifying spatial tunnel.

Instead of hearing the miserable screams of the old man, they heard nothing, shocking Patriarch Li.

Before Patriarch Li could understand what was going on, Zimo and his men activated their armor. With confident expressions, they strode into the spatial tunnel.

Su Yen was the last man to enter the spatial tunnel, disappearing into the space crack.

With Su Yen and his men disappearing into the spatial crack, Patriarch Li looked at the new city lord and asked with a trembling voice, "Will they be alright?"

"What do you think?" Commander Kai responded with a look of disdain. To him, these people were mere servants and did not have the qualifications to talk to him.

Besides, what could happen to His Majesty? To him, His Majesty was an unfathomable existence, and nothing was impossible for him.

"We're returning," he commanded and departed.

Meanwhile, inside the spatial tunnel, the chaotic space was assaulting Zimo and his men. Their armor was trembling vehemently, and the defensive formation around them had many cracks.

"Use your bloodline power to resist the chaotic energy," they heard Su Yen's voice in their minds.

Quickly, Zimo and his men sprang into action and summoned their bloodline to protect their bodies.

With the addition of their bloodline power, the attacks against them reduced considerably, and they breathed a sigh of relief.

'What kind of mysterious power is this?!' he exclaimed in his mind.

With his vast knowledge, he had never seen anything like it. Even from his inherited memory, there was nothing like it.

'I must not get on the bad side of these humans,' he thought and continued to move forward.

After walking for another minute, they saw a bright light at the end of the tunnel. Seeing this, light smiles appeared on their faces.

On a rocky plain with red liquid boiling ferociously, a small space crack appeared above a tall mountain.

The space crack got bigger, and an old man came out of it. A few seconds later, another group of men arrived, with the last person dressed in ethereal robes.

"Where is this place?" one of the soldiers asked in confusion and amazement.

The rising temperature made them frown as they felt the unbearable heat assaulting their bodies.

"Do you know where we are?" Su Yen asked the Space Eating Spider.

Shaking his head, "I don't know. This is my first time here."

"I see..." Su Yen responded and averted his gaze to look at the exceedingly hot environment.

"Let's move," he commanded and picked a random direction.

As they were walking, they began to notice the rising hot lava, which was rising at a visible speed.

"Your Majesty..." Zimo called, watching the lava rise like tsunamis.

With the rocky plain, it was difficult for them to escape quickly from the rising lava, and if they did not do something immediately, they would be buried under it.

"Help!"

Just then, they heard a cry for help in the distance. Experience tales at empire

"Activate your armor to full throttle," Su Yen commanded and flew toward the direction of the cry while Zimo and his men followed behind.
