I Play the Horror World as a Simulation Game

Chapter 112: Reasonable guidance, meet old friends!

"Warm and healing?"

When the young man heard these words, his mind was full of questions.

This is the Horror World, where everything is intertwined with horror. Where did you see these bizarre words?

Qin Nuo glanced at the time. "You're running out of time. If you miss your dining slot, I don't mind, but your superiors might not be so pleased."

The young man checked the time, quickly picked up the menu, and without caring whether the advice from those who've been here was true or not, thanked Qin Nuo and left.

The dishes were served quickly. Qin Nuo tasted them briefly and then put down his chopsticks.

The young man asked, "What's wrong?"

"The eggplant lacks flavor, the Mapo tofu has too little cornstarch, it's a mess, like mush."

"The chef who cooked this really treats customers like dogs, doesn't he care about anything?" Qin Nuo asked coldly.

In truth, Qin Nuo understood the reason behind it.

Having ghost chefs cook human dishes fills them with disgust, like forcing someone who hates cilantro to cook a whole pot of it, full of malice.

Those who order human food are usually Half-Ghosts and human Players. In a high-end place like Nether Springs Restaurant, very few want to cause trouble, so they choose to let minor issues slide.

But Qin Nuo was different; he had another identity, the head of the kitchen at Nether Springs Restaurant.

"Take me to the chef who cooked these dishes," Qin Nuo said, standing up.

"Brother, maybe we should just let it go," the timid young man was almost in tears, feeling that if this escalated, he would be in trouble.

"Most customers indeed don't like to make a fuss, but when they eat bad food, they inevitably harbor some resentment, and then they take it out on someone without background or power."

"Who do you think that person would be?"

The young man opened his mouth, realizing that the scapegoat would be none other than himself.

"Who's your supervisor?" Qin Nuo asked.

"A long-nosed Pinocchio, with a very odd personality," the young man whispered.

Qin Nuo nodded meaningfully and gestured for the young man to lead the way.

Soon, they reached the kitchen. The young man pointed to the chef who made the two dishes, nodded at Qin Nuo, and then ran off with the menu to the next table.

Qin Nuo walked in. The kitchen was still in a terrible state, with bloody ingredients laid out on the counters, both horrifying and nauseating.

A chef with a twisted face stood there, roughly stirring the pot, occasionally cursing under his breath.

"Eat, eat, eat! Damn things, eating this crap all day, you should just eat yourselves to death!"

Once the dish was done, he tossed it onto a plate and left it by the serving window, not forgetting to spit on it.

Qin Nuo approached and said calmly, "Cooking like someone's dug up your ancestral grave. Nether Springs Restaurant is supposed to be high-end; the kitchen staff really needs some discipline."

The chef's grotesque face turned towards Qin Nuo, about to curse, but sensing the ghost power emanating from Qin Nuo, he hesitated and said with some concern, "This is the kitchen, unauthorized personnel are not allowed!"

Qin Nuo smiled instead. "What, you don't recognize me?"

The chef's horrified face stared at Qin Nuo, confused, unable to recall.

"You once put two pieces of fresh, delicious human skin in my dish, and you've forgotten so soon?"

The chef's expression changed instantly, exclaiming, "It's you, you're not dead yet?"

Then, he sneered, "What does how I cook have to do with you?"

"The last dish, Mapo tofu, eggplant with meat, was mine. Do you think it has anything to do with me?" Qin Nuo asked with a smile.

The chef's eyes shifted. He knew how terrible those two dishes were and hadn't expected the customer to be this guy.

Knowing he was in the wrong, the chef said in a low voice, "If you're not satisfied, I can just make another one for you!"

"It's not about remaking it," Qin Nuo shook his head.

The chef glanced at Qin Nuo's right hand, feeling a bit intimidated, and stepped back, but then remembered the restaurant's rules and said, "The dish just didn't suit your taste, it's not like it was poisoned. What do you want? Are you going to kill me?"

"Nether Springs Restaurant has rules. If a customer causes trouble without reason, the consequences are severe, so don't do anything rash!"

The other chefs also turned their eyes towards Qin Nuo, staring at him unfavorably.

"The restaurant also has a rule that if a chef maliciously targets a customer, the supervisor can educate them in their own way."

As he spoke, Qin Nuo pinned the supervisor badge onto his collar and said, "Now I'm not a customer, I'm the restaurant's supervisor, and I have this authority."

The chef stared at the badge, his face changing, then he flatly denied, "It's fake! Stop bluffing..."

Before he could finish, Qin Nuo slapped him, and the domineering ghost power sent the chef flying.

The chef's twisted face became even more contorted, his ugly appearance making one feel nauseous.

"You want to die!"

The twisted chef charged forward in a fit of rage, but in the next moment, Qin Nuo easily kicked him away, sending him flying into the dark pantry.

Qin Nuo looked at the other stunned chefs. "What are you looking at? Have you finished your work, or do you want to join in too?"

Qin Nuo's presence was intimidating, and the chefs were all cowed, continuing their work as if nothing had happened, not caring whether the badge was real or fake.

Qin Nuo then took out a bone-crushing hammer and walked towards the dark pantry.

Inside, the twisted ghost chef backed away, screaming in terror, "Don't... don't come any closer!"

"I'm just here to guide you on how to be a qualified chef. This is a well-intentioned lesson, not like I'm some kind of demon!"

Qin Nuo shook his head, entered the pantry, and closed the door.

Then, various horrific screams began to emanate from the pantry, even drowning out the noise of the kitchen.

The chefs outside listened with their hearts pounding, hastening their work.

About five minutes later.

The door opened, and Qin Nuo walked out, clapping his hands.

Two ghost chefs nearby sneaked a glance at Qin Nuo.

Qin Nuo grinned at them. "Don't worry, the guidance was very successful. He's in there reflecting deeply."

The ghost chefs: "..."

With that, Qin Nuo swaggered out.

The twisted ghost chef emerged from the pantry, his body battered and bruised, his contorted face dripping with blood.

Panting heavily, he let out an enraged roar, "This is outrageous, I... I'm going to report this!"

The twisted ghost chef's roar went unheard by Qin Nuo, who had already reached the corridor. Suddenly feeling a bit thirsty, he looked at the corner of the corridor and smiled, "Might as well check on an old friend, it's been a while, they must miss me."

As he turned the corner, even before seeing the ghost, the sinister laughter of the vending machine ghost echoed.

"Heh heh heh, a few stinking rats dare to bargain with me?"

"Giving you food is already a favor, say one more word and you won't get a single bite!"

"Scram!"
