Feeling like every inch of his body was battered and beaten to the point of exhaustion, Valyr took a while to rouse from his untimely slumber as he tried his best to recall what happened.

"After consuming the True Rebirth Pill… I decided to proceed with the Mystic Vial…" murmured the young man to himself, closing his eyes every once in a while to give his mind a slight breather.

"Then, once I downed all of its contents… a wave of coldness spread throughout my entire body… and then…"

"…Ah."

"I remember now. The effects of the Mystic Vial strike again," said the young man with a bitter smile before letting out a low sigh. "Then again, from what I recall during the last time I consumed it, I was only hit by a wave of coldness."

"Why the hell do I feel like I've been working my entire body out for hours on end until I ran out of energy?"

Though curious as to why the vial also gave him severe exhaustion as a side effect, the young man eventually tossed the thought to the back of his head, giving his body and mind all the time it needed to recover from its current condition.

Fortunately, with the effects the Mystic Vial brought him, it only took a couple of minutes before he began feeling like he'd returned to the way he was before.

In fact, after a few more minutes had passed, he felt like he'd gained a second wind of sorts, an illusion brought about by the strength he just gained coursing throughout his body.

Though, just as he was about to check how much strength he'd gained relative to the increase in stats he received, a series of notification sounds soon resounded within the young man's mind.

Unsurprisingly, just like the True Rebirth Pill, the Mystic Vial he consumed pretty much gave him the same benefits as before.

From the stat boosts, to the skills related to the storage and control of Mystic Energy, it was as if Valyr had regained a part of the strength he had as an NPC.

Because of that, the young man thought that now would be a good time to take a look at his stats, considering the fact that there was no doubt all of his stats had broken through the triple-digit mark already.

However, in the end, Valyr decided to hold it off for now, thinking that it would be better if he were to look at it only after he was done consuming all of the elixirs.

"Then again, there's no doubt that I'm insanely strong for someone who hasn't picked up a class yet." Saying these words to himself with a grin on his face, the young man went ahead and grabbed the fruit next, devouring it whole in just a few bites.

"…Aww." Going through the notifications he received as the energy of the fruit continued to spread throughout his body, Valyr briefly had a sad expression on his face as he failed to trigger the final effect of the fruit.

Nevertheless, as the fruit's final effect only had a small chance to happen in the first place, the young man quickly got over it, giving his body a bit of time to adjust to his new stats before proceeding with the next elixir.

"The Tincture of Heavenly Reconstruction."

Grabbing the small bottle that was filled with iridescent liquid, a slight shudder ran through Valyr's body as he thought about the first time he consumed the tincture.

Recalling how it made him feel like his body was being destroyed and reconstructed tens of times before eventually falling unconscious, Valyr felt fear towards it, thinking that it was highly likely for him to die from its process before even being able to reap its benefits.

After all, when he consumed the Tincture of Heavenly Reconstruction as an NPC, he already had over a thousand points on every stat.

In comparison, he was going to consume the tincture while only having less than a tenth of that amount!

"If all else fails… I could always revive." Being reminded that he was now a player and not an NPC, Valyr began to force himself to think positively as he pulled the stopper.

Fortunately, just as he felt like all of the cells in his body were filled to the brim with energy, a wave of lethargy washed over the young man's mind, rendering him unconscious as the tincture began to reconstruct his body from head to toe.

Having fallen unconscious for what felt like the second time in a row, it was no surprise that Valyr felt like utter shit the moment he was brought back to the waking world.

Knowing exactly what he did before he fell unconscious, the young man inwardly let out a sigh as he sat upright, only to hear faint crackling sounds come from the surface of his body.

'…Ah.' Realizing what was going on, Valyr went ahead and furiously rubbed his eyes to remove the gunk covering them, allowing him to see that his body was currently covered in black debris that gave off a faint stench.

Inwardly thanking his past self for also preparing a few sets of clothes in advance, the young man made his way to the stream he found earlier before washing himself in it, which temporarily made the stream look like it carried wastewater.

Feeling like he'd thoroughly removed every bit of black debris on his body, it was only then did he get out of the stream, inwardly apologizing to the nearby wildlife as he dried himself off.

Changing into a new set of clothes after that, it was only then did he take a look at the notifications he received.
