Primordial Draconic Incubus With A Gourmet Chef System

Chapter 75 Finally Back

Maximilian watched as Lucian and Lily's Souls were covered in a luminescent white glow before their bodies vanished from his Dimension.

Only after a long while did Maximillian snap out of his daze and sighed deeply, feeling relief his son had been revived but sorrow he could not raise him.

"I hope Lucian can protect our son and give him the love that we cannot give him." Suddenly, a beautiful female's voice resounded within what should have been an empty room.

Maximilian turned around, not surprised one bit by his wife's figure standing behind him.

Ever since Lucian and Lily's Souls were teleported into his Dimension, his wife had been hiding and watching.

After all, the matter concerned her son, whom she had not seen in a hundred thousand years; therefore, how could she not be present to see her benefactor?

In fact, she was not the only other person who had hidden herself and watched from the beginning.

"I'm confident that if it's him, we have nothing to worry about."n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Hahaha, Boldvar is correct. Sister Ruyan, you have nothing to worry about."

"It won't be long before we see the Young Master again."

"By the way, did we ever choose a name for the Young Master?"

Soon, the room became overcrowded with Golden War Monkeys, causing Maximillian to change their location to an open field.

Only then did he respond to his wife in a calm and confident tone, "He will, my love!"

Meanwhile, back in Transcendence, Fenwick anxiously paced back and forth, while his eyes remained on Lily's unconscious body.

"Senior, are you there!? Can you hear me!?"

"Can you at least tell me what happened to Lily!?"

"It's been almost an hour!"

For the past hour, Fenwick had been calling out to the mysterious, weird-sounding Senior, who had communicated with him before, alas, he did not get a single response back.

He was almost driven crazy from worry and had almost woken Lily up many times. But each time, just as he was about to wake her up, an ominous feeling stopped him, a gut instinct warning him that doing so would be a grave mistake. He did not understand why, but he trusted his gut instinct.

"Senior, ple-"

Just as Fenwick was about to make another attempt to contact the Senior, a luminescent white glow illuminated Lily and Lucian's bodies.

Slowly, Lily's eyes fluttered open. She lifted her head from the table and looked at her surroundings in confusion.

"Big Brother Lucian? Grandpa Max?"

Seeing Lily was finally awake, Fenwick hurriedly rushed to her side, "Lily! You're awake! Thank the Heavens! Are you okay!? What happened!?"

Lily blinked, her mind was still trying to catch up with her surroundings.

Only a few moments later, after Lily became aware of her surroundings, she responded, "Lily is fine, Uncle Fen. As for what happened-" But before she could explain, Lucian interrupted her via Voice Transmission, [Lily, I would appreciate it if you don't tell anyone what happened after we ate the Sous Vide Filet Mignon.]

Lily's eyes widened with surprise after hearing Big Brother Lucian's words.

She hesitated since she had never lied to her family before. And, of course, she considered Uncle Fenwick as family.

Seeing Lily's expression, Fenwick became worried.

"Lily, what's wrong?" He asked worriedly.

Lily did not immediately respond and glanced at Lucian from the corner of her eye.

[Just say that you were unconscious and don't remember anything clearly.] Lucian advised before continuing gently, [However, if you want to, I won't stop you from telling your family the truth.]

After hearing Lucian's gentle words, which showed he cared for her situation, Lily felt sweet, and her hesitation immediately vanished.

'Sorry Uncle Fen.' Lily apologized to Fenwick inwardly before she frowned as though trying to remember what happened. Eventually, she sighed with a shake of her head, "Lily is sorry, Unce Fen, but Lily can't… remember anything after eating Big Brother Lucian's Sous Vide Filet Mignon."

Fenwick was still worried, but nodded understandingly, "It's alright, Lily. The important thing is you're awake and safe."

He then turned to Lucian, and his expression hardened with anger, "As for you. What kind of dish did you serve Lily? How can a plate of food cause someone to fall unconscious? What sinister ingredient did you mix into the dish?"

Even though Fenwick was scared of Lucian, that did not mean he was a coward.

Lucian remained indifferent, and responded, "Did you experience an increase in your Mana Reserves after eating the Siren's Melody Poached Egg?"

Fenwick furrowed his brows and questioned, "What does that have to do with anything?"

"It has everything to do with your false accusation." Lucian shook his head. "Compared to the Mana within the Siren's Melody Poached Egg, the Mana within the Sous Vide Filet Mignon is much greater, to the point it would have caused Lily pain if she were conscious."

He then continued with narrowed eyes filled with suspicion, "Unless you want Lily to experience pain?"

"When did I say that?" Fenwick gritted his teeth. He had only just realized how sinister the indifferent-looking chef was.

'I knew it! A Magical Beast can never be trusted. They're all sinister!' He thought to himself.

Despite, thinking that, Fenwick turned his attention to Lily and asked for confirmation, "Lily, is what Senior said the truth?"

"Lily will check," Lily said and checked her Mana Reserves. To her shock, she realized her Mana Veins had become larger by almost a hundred percent. She was more than halfway to a breakthrough.

"Lily has become a Mid-Tier Mana Vein Tempering Realm Mage." She exclaimed in a genuinely happy tone while looking at Lucian with awe and admiration.

'Is there anything that Big Brother Lucian can't do?' She thought while remembering everything that she had witnessed and heard in Grandpa Max's Dimension.

"WHAT!?" Fenwick screamed with widened eyes. "It's impossible to go from Low-Tier to Mid-Tier Mana Vein Tempering Realm that quickly!"

"Let me check your Mana Veins." He said, and before Lily could even agree, her hand was seized by Fenwick, who proceeded to use his Mana Sense to check her Main Veins.

"This…" Fenwick gulped after seeing her Mana Veins.

"... It's actually true." He mumbled with a dazed look, looking as though he had suddenly aged by a few hundred years.

While Fenwick was dazed by the revelation, Lucian grabbed his knife and fork and began eating the Sous Vide Filet Mignon.

"Leave some for Lily." Lily pouted when she saw Lucian eating and quickly began eating as well.

Hearing Lily's voice, Fenwick was startled from his daze. His eyes widened in horror when he saw Lily eating the Sous Vide Filet Mignon, "Lily, what are you doing!? Stop! Spit it out now!"

However, before Lily could speak, Lucian indifferently explained, "Don't worry, Lily won't fall unconscious now that her body is strong enough to withstand the Mana."

Fenwick's eyes narrowed in suspicion, "… Wait, why did Senior fall unconscious?"

"That's of course because the piece of steak I took has an abundance of powerful Mana," Lucian said. For him, lying was as easy as breathing. It also helped that his face usually remained indifferent; therefore, it was hard for others to tell whether he was lying or telling the truth.

"If you don't believe me, you are more than welcome to try this piece," Lucian pointed at a small piece of steak on his plate with a teasing smirk.

Hearing Lucian's words, Fenwick was overjoyed.

'Haha, I can finally taste the Sous VIde Filet Mignon.' He laughed joyfully. Because he had been worried about Lily, he did not sneakily eat the steak.

However, now that he knew Lily was safe and even got the chef owner's permission, he would be an idiot not to stuff his mouth.

But just as Fenwick reached out with a fork, Lucian asked teasingly, "Are you sure you want to eat it?"

"What does Senior mean by that? Didn't you just give me permission to eat it? Or could it be you are going back on your word?" Fenwick furrowed his brows and bombarded Lucian with questions.

However, Lucian shook his head and continued, "I'm not going back on my word. I'm merely worried about your health, that's all."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you see, the ingredient I mixed into the Sous Vide Filet Mignon only turns our pain receptors off. It doesn't have the effect of preventing pain. Which would mean…" Lucian trailed off teasingly when he saw Fenwick's eyes widen in horror.

*Clank* *Clank*

Unconsciously, Fenwick's hold on the fork and knife loosened, causing them to hit the table.

'I almost died!' Fenwick exclaimed in horror, feeling his trembling body soaked in cold sweat. If even Lucian, who was a powerful Magical Beast needed to use an ingredient that turned his pain receptors off, then the amount of Mana contained in his slice of steak would be enough to explode his body dozens of times over.

From the side, Lily watched their conversation while desperately trying not to laugh.

'Big Brother Lucian is really bad.' She thought to herself before placing the seventh and final slice of Sous Vide Filet Mignon into her mouth.

'But that means Lily was able to eat seven out of the eight slices hehehe~!'
