Rebirth Stockpiling: The Little Girl Sweeps Through the Apocalypse

Chapter 298

Yun Xiaoxiao immediately drew out Lord Slasher, not forgetting to coat it with spiritual spring water.

She remembered well that Lord Slasher combined with spiritual spring water was the ultimate weapon against zombies.

Her gaze was firmly locked on the charging zombie, a fierce fighting spirit blazing in her eyes.

The zombie opposite her was unusually small, perhaps about her size.

But from its facial features, it was clear that this wasn’t a child but rather an adult in their thirties or forties.

Moreover, unlike other zombies that walked upright, this one moved on all fours, crawling like an animal.

It bared its teeth, letting out a shrill screech as it lunged at Yun Xiaoxiao with terrifying speed.

It was agile and fast, closing the distance in the blink of an eye.

Yun Xiaoxiao’s eyes darkened as she raised her hand, sending Lord Slasher slicing through the air with a sharp, whistling sound.

“Screech!”

The zombie reacted quickly, dodging the attack, but not fast enough to avoid having a bone in its shoulder severed.

Enraged, it let out a furious roar, its entire body radiating a menacing aura.

In the next moment, it moved!

It began circling Yun Xiaoxiao at incredible speed, waiting for the perfect moment to pounce.

Its sharp claws extended, aiming to tear into her flesh.

The strength of a mid-tier Level 5 zombie was no joke, and Yun Xiaoxiao narrowly avoided being hit several times.

Yet, each time, she managed to evade at the last possible moment.

The intense battle between the two lasted several minutes.

At first, Yun Xiaoxiao was testing the waters, holding back somewhat.

But once she realized the zombie’s limits, she unleashed her full power, increasing the speed and ferocity of her attacks.

The mutated zombie was now riddled with severe injuries.

“Screech!”

After being struck yet again, it let out a deafening roar and leaped onto the roof of an abandoned truck. Crawling to the edge, it crouched low, its eyes darting around as if searching for the perfect opportunity to strike.

But suddenly, it began pounding the truck’s roof in frustration.

Because...

Yun Xiaoxiao had disappeared!

Then, it sensed an unusual presence.

It turned around quickly, only to be met with Yun Xiaoxiao’s sly smile and the descending blade of Lord Slasher.

!!!

Realizing it couldn’t dodge in time, it jumped off the truck, landing with a sickening crunch as bones broke.

Despite the injury, it stubbornly got up and fled, running for its life.

It knew it was no match for Yun Xiaoxiao; staying meant certain death.

Zombies that reached Level 5 or higher often retained some level of consciousness.

Unlike Level 1 or 2 zombies, which were driven solely by an insatiable hunger for flesh and sound, higher-level zombies could sense danger and act accordingly.

When faced with a lethal threat, they would flee rather than fight.

And so, it darted between cars, climbed walls, and scrambled up and down the pipes of tall buildings, desperately trying to escape.

Yun Xiaoxiao sheathed Lord Slasher and gave chase, launching attack after attack.

Sharp ice spikes shot out one after another, relentlessly pursuing the fleeing zombie.

The two engaged in a tense and thrilling chase through the towering streets of the city.

Finally, as the zombie climbed up a pipe to reach the rooftop, a massive block of ice fell on it, freezing it solid against the wall.

Its limbs were still wrapped around the pipe, frozen in place.

Yun Xiaoxiao stood at the edge of the rooftop, a faint smile playing on her lips. She raised Lord Slasher and brought it down with a decisive swing, cleaving the frozen zombie’s head in two.

“Crack!”

The ice shattered, and the zombie’s head split cleanly down the middle.

Yun Xiaoxiao dug out the brightly colored zombie crystal core, a satisfied smirk on her face.

She stood alone on the high rooftop, the world stretching out around her.

Above, the sky was shrouded in a hazy mist.

Below, the snow-covered buildings gleamed white.

A gentle breeze stirred the strands of hair on her forehead, making her appear bold and unrestrained, radiating confidence.

She didn’t linger long. After stashing the crystal core in her backpack, she quickly descended to help clear out the remaining mutated zombies.

But gradually, she began to feel that something was off.

She couldn’t quite put her finger on it, though.

Suddenly, her expression turned grim.

She realized what was wrong!

Big Beauty was missing!

Anxious, she scanned her surroundings. Little Cutie and Little Flower were still enthusiastically taking down zombies.

Mu Yang and the others were also present.

But Big Beauty was nowhere to be seen!

The situation on the ground was under control, and even without her, things wouldn’t spiral out of hand. Yun Xiaoxiao quickly made her exit.

She stood atop various rooftops, searching for Big Beauty.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

But despite combing the area, she couldn’t find any trace of it.

Just as she was about to expand her search, Mu Yang approached in a helicopter.

As they drew closer, Xiao Feng used a loudspeaker to inform her that something had happened on Jiang Huai’s side, and they needed her help immediately.

Yun Xiaoxiao gazed into the distance, her brows furrowed.

Big Beauty, you better be safe!

She turned away and quickly boarded the helicopter, heading toward Jiang Huai’s location.

With no sign of Big Beauty, she had no idea where to start looking.

Moreover, the situation with Jiang Huai was urgent, and delaying could cost more lives.

After weighing her options, Yun Xiaoxiao made the most practical decision.

By evening, the first wave of the siege had finally ended.

The group had managed to eliminate two layers of zombies, totaling around a hundred thousand.

Among them were numerous Level 3, 4, and 5 mutated zombies.

Yet, Yun Xiaoxiao felt no joy.

Because...

Big Beauty still hadn’t returned.

“Has anyone seen a big tiger?”

After assisting Jiang Huai and his team, Yun Xiaoxiao returned to the Tang brothers’ side.

She asked everyone if they had seen Big Beauty, hoping someone might have noticed where it had gone.

But no one had any answers.

Some hadn’t even noticed a tiger had been present.

Just as Yun Xiaoxiao was about to give up and search on her own, Tang Yanchi approached.
