Chapter 121: Chapter 121 Damn it, that fat guy did it on purpose!
Abigail exclaimed, “Ah, cousin, be careful…”
Pullan shuddered.
“Trash!” The middle-aged man had been sent to check Brandon Piers’s body, clearly not an ordinary character. Unexpectedly, he acted first, grabbing the yellow-haired leader’s fist without hesitation, and harshly calling him trash.
This kind of small-time thug didn’t even catch his eye.
But the middle-aged man didn’t expect that calling him trash would incite the anger of the other three.
Especially the yellow-haired one who screamed and lunged towards the elevator. “How dare you call my boss trash? I’ll fight you!”
The middle-aged man glanced at the yellow-haired one’s stance, “Overestimating yourself!”
Saying that, he kicked the charging yellow-haired guy with a ruthless blow. The big guy, sharp-eyed, grabbed the yellow-haired one, and the bandanna-clad man in the elevator finally came to his senses. “Fuck, watch me!”
The scene turned chaotic in an instant.
Pullan was dumbfounded.
Abigail couldn’t guarantee how long the two teams would fight or if they would suddenly react. She gave Pullan a glance and together they quietly wheeled the bed around the corner, disappearing from both groups’ sight.
“Quick.” As soon as they were out of sight, Abigail urged.
Pullan received the message, pushing Sophia Patel’s gurney quickly and following Abigail, unable to resist asking, “When did your cousin arrive?”
Abigail gave Pullan a contemptuous look and walked through the center of a row of parking spaces, heading toward the exit with ease, without answering his question.
Pullan scratched his head, kept walking, and couldn’t help but think, is Miss Abigail despising him?
“Follow me.” Abigail feared those people would notice and chase after them. She walked quickly, stopped Pullan from overtaking her, and occasionally checked on Brandon Piers’s condition.
“Oh, Miss Abigail, you seem very familiar with this parking lot. Have you been here before?” Pullan even used “you” respectfully, growing more puzzled. Miss Abigail seemed so familiar with the place; he already saw the exit.
It was common to get lost in a parking lot after several attempts, wandering for half an hour without finding the exit.
Abigail didn’t answer Pullan and couldn’t. She pushed the gurney towards the exit, afraid the people behind would catch up.
What you fear often happens.
Just as the two were about to reach the exit, both groups finally realized Abigail and Pullan were gone.
The middle-aged man’s eyes grew cold, “That fat guy pushing the gurney was probably Brandon Piers. Let’s chase.”
“Yes,” his subordinate answered respectfully and attacked the yellow-haired trio more viciously.
The big guy also noticed Abigail and Pullan running and thought of the two million, gritting his teeth. “Boss, we should chase the fat guy first.”
“Chase who? We should kill her cousin first. Don’t look down on us!” Before the boss could answer, the yellow-haired one snarled, being the most beaten.
But as he finished speaking, the middle-aged man realized something was off. “So you’re not that fat guy’s cousin?”
“Isn’t her cousin with you?” The gang leader defended and asked, clearly also sensing something was wrong.
“Damn, that fat guy did it on purpose,” the middle-aged man cursed softly. He and his subordinates stopped caring about the yellow-haired gang, and rushed out.
Watching them leave, the four slightly injured thugs looked at each other. The yellow-haired one finally asked, “Should we still chase them?”
The leader thought of his wasted money and gritted his teeth. “Chase, why not!”
Saying that, the four crazily followed the middle-aged man to chase Abigail.
Nearing the exit, Abigail and Pullan heard footsteps behind them. “Faster!”
But the exit was an uphill road. They were pushing the gurney and much slower than those chasing them.
Seeing they were about to be caught, Abigail felt panic, realizing they were in trouble.
