Reincarnated and Regressed Villain - Make heroines beg for forgiveness

Chapter 352 - Eradication of the Wei Family

"I don't know, I was just trying to send this letter to her," Malika replied as her hands moved on their own, taking out a letter from her robe and stretching her hand.

Without wasting any time, Ryuk took the letter before placing it in his pocket, prioritizing the timing of her self-destruction rather than investing in reading the letter.

"Do you know that your body is artificial?" Ryuk inquired, before glancing toward the cloaked figure who was now kneeling.

As both of their eyes met, he gestured for him to leave, which he followed, swiftly sprinting from that place while nodding in understanding that his liege was signaling for him to leave and come back after some time.

Given Malika's self-destruction, he may not sustain any injuries, but it wasn't the same for that cloaked figure who seemed to be equally strong as Malika, considering their battle earlier. Continue reading at empire

Most likely, he was of legendary rank in energy level, making it clear that he would definitely sustain some injuries.

"Yes...I would not have brought this one," Malika revealed, gritting her jaws as she remembered how she should have brought the higher version of her body, which was at legendary rank.

However, due to the consumption of energy and the tremendous cost of using it, she opted for this one, and after traveling for nearly four weeks, she arrived here with the message.

'A cyborg?' The first thing that came to Ryuk's mind was that presently this woman, according to information from the system, was not human—more like a replica of Malika.

Considering her mind as well, it appeared to be switchable from body to body. Noting this fact, he moved on to the next question, "Do you know anything about Alisia Devereuaux?"

Though he didn't have any lead on his mother nor had the time to think about her until now due to his own strength and the restrictions around him.

But with the system, he was at least assured that she was alive.

Still, he inquired if he could find some lead in meantime.

"Y-yes, she got a Zenith rank energy core transplant five years ago," Malika revealed about the instance where her master had provided one of the three remaining Zenith rank energy cores to that woman.

"And?"

"I don't know anything else," she replied, but the pain seemed to slowly spread around her body, heating up as her skin turned red.

[Host, you have only 1 minute remaining.]

"Tell me about Angelica's location."

Now, upon learning that the energy core transplantation was performed by Angelica, Ryuk felt a sense of anger. He realized that this body transplant seemed clearly unethical and that there were likely to be serious consequences.

Prompting him to directly inquire about the location of the owner so that he could personally meet her and inquire further about the details regarding his mother and also the reason why she sent Malika or others that day to attack the Heindal continent.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"That's—AaaRrrrGggHhhh!" Malika was about to reveal but suddenly her eyes glowed intensely before bulging, as one after another both of them popped.

The same happened with her whole body as veins started to bloat under his grip; her neck, though, remained static but around his hand, it seemed like a balloon bloated before bursting.

BOOOM!

With a sudden burst of light or energy, a glow expanded with a golden light, scattering around in small particles before what remained at the center was a hovering golden orb.

As the energy touched his outer skin, Ryuk's body already nullified the energy while the shockwaves were directed by him towards the ground, breaking it instantly and creating a huge shockwave that produced landslides and avalanches on nearby ranges as he stood there static.

'What is that—' Before he could inquire about that particular hovering orb, a sound pierced through the air.

Swish

With that voice resonating, the golden orb shattered, with cracks forming as it released another wave of energy, which was slightly stronger than the previous one, leading his steps to slide a few inches back.

Yet he stood there, eyes blankly looking towards the orb.

'Pinpoint the energy signature.'

[Location pinpointed—Are we going there now?]

'No, first deal with the situation here.'

Ryuk appeared calm on the surface, yet the threat he had just heard from Angelica had ignited an instinctive rage within him.

Hearing the voice, he was clearly in an enraged state where he wanted to barge in instantly, but he knew things would just get messier if he took rash decisions right now, as there were several variables at play.

Given the incident yesterday, Diana would inevitably catch up to him, as would the vampires and other flag bearers.

Many things were halting him from giving a good reply to that woman.

Swish

"Liege, are you alright?"

The cloaked figure once again arrived, kneeling instantly and keeping his head lowered as he inquired about Ryuk's well-being, even though he appeared firm enough yet the shockwave from the explosion had even been felt from miles away.

"Give me your sword."

Ryuk approached the figure, with both hands resting in his pockets, and asked the cloaked figure to give him his sword.

"Y-yes."

With a moment of hesitation, as he processed the information, the figure gave the sword to him.

Considering his ears were ringing due to that explosion sound and the battle just moments ago, it took him a moment, even though he was a veteran.

Yet he composed himself, offering the sword with both hands, holding it like a knight.

'System, is there a wavelength modifier artifact in the shop?'

Ryuk inquired, given the origin of the system providing how a transaction needed to pass through the «Nexus Grid»

He prohibited most of the time to not use the shop, but given the need, he inquired.

[Indeed, purchased it.]

The system instantly purchased it, understanding the severity in his tone.

'Adjust the wavelength to the same as Diana's,' Ryuk further added, given the system had already recorded her energy signatures due to her arrival yesterday.

He instructed the system to adjust the wavelength similar to hers.

"Here."

Ryuk stretched his hand as a small pin-like substance materialized out of thin air in his hand, coming out of his inventory.

He placed it over the hilt of the sword before further instructing, "There is a family called the Wei family in the upper town.

Except for those jokers following me around the Phoenix Order, kill everyone in that family, including the children."

"I understand, my Liege."

The cloaked figure nodded without hesitation, not even flinching upon hearing the order to kill an entire family, given that he was a member of the Devereaux family's front battalion.

Committing genocide was not a new thing for him, so it was more like a very small thing in comparison to it.

"You will do it alone and use only this sword. Now go."

Ryuk again placed his hand resting in his pocket and instructed him as the cloaked figure swiftly blurred out of the mountains.

'Now, Yao Lian would have good reason to hate Diana,' Ryuk thought, looking in that direction.

As when he was inside the upper town, he had made sure to instigate the Wei family to kill everyone inside the Lian family.

At that time, his intent was to corner Yao Lian and make her submit to him, but now he also needed to give her direction as she needed to have anger towards Diana, who would be bloodthirsty for her.

Mutual animosity was needed, and what could be a better way to create a rivalry than not being able to take revenge for her family's death?
