The Martial Unity

Chapter 2526 Behold

Chapter 2526  Behold

"Any weapon that cannot fully harness all dimensions of human potential cannot serve as a viable Martial Path," the Esoterist restated once more. "That, leaders of human civilization, is the fundamental difference between Martial weapons and non-Martial weapons."

He turned his attention to the weapons of Martial Art. "Take the most common Martial weapon, for example, the sword. Although different variants and styles exist, the sword is fundamentally a weapon that harnesses everything a human being has to offer. It requires a well-honed and healthy body to wield. It requires good hand-eye coordination, good reflexes, good balance, and other foundational parameters. It requires the sum totality of engagement with mind, both conscious and subconscious. It truly draws out everything that the human being has to offer and is only limited by tensile strength and human power."

His gaze swept over the audience that grew engrossed in what he had to say.

"Now, let us compare the sword with a non-Martial weapon like the rifle,' he continued, highlighting standard esoteric rifle models that the Esocline Federation sold. "Does a rifle fully harness all dimensions of human potential? Does its output fully harness human output to the highest?"

The answer was self-evident.

"It most certainly does not do any of those," he declared. "Gunmanship does indeed require great vision, hand-eye coordination, and spatial recognition. However, it makes absolutely no utility of human physicality. It does not make use of the physical power that human beings can generate. It makes no use of many dimensions of human potential, things like the capacity to develop muscle memory of a complex string of complicated maneuvers. It makes little use of our capacity to physically endure force or power. It makes sub-optimal use of our capacity for agility and speed. It is unable to utilize the full extent of our energy reserves and stamina."

He rattled off many more areas in which infantry esoteric technological weapons were simply lacking.

The list was long.

"…And finally, it does not derive any additional output from human growth. Even if a human being grew stronger and stronger, it wouldn't matter because the output of this weapon is absolutely fixed. It's fixed because its source of power is entirely separate and non-human. It has an absolute ceiling that cannot be broached because it does not derive anything from the human being except for the trigger and direction," he concluded. "It does not harness most dimensions of human potential and thus is entirely unfit and unviable to become a Martial Path."

The more he explained it the more it became entirely clear.

Most leaders did not possess the intimate understanding of Martial Art to have already been familiar with this on an intuitive level.

The Martial Artists understood it intuitively, but it was an entirely internal understanding that was difficult for them to convey academically the way the Esoterist had clearly laid out. "The rifle is the least poor out of all non-Martial weapons in this regard and still absolutely bad at harnessing human potential," he continued with a tone of regret. "Siege weapons harness even less of human potential. It discards something like 99.9% of human potential and is entirely non-human in its power. It is absolutely impossible for the licensed operators of these weapons to ever become Martial Artists. You could be an extremely obese and unhealthy person and still serve as an excellent operator of siege weapons. The human being is almost entirely irrelevant for most of these weapons."

He waved his hand, closing both three-dimensional projections and taking a moment to direct a sweeping gaze across all of the engrossed leaders in the conference hall.

"Non-Martial weapons are simply unable to harness human potential because they are almost exclusively reliant more on the power of esoteric technology."

This was the reason that they were unable to produce any Martial Artists and the reason why Martial Artists didn't wield them.

"And thus…" he slowly continued with a soft tone. "It begs the question, doesn't it?"

He smiled confidently. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"A question that I'm sure has crossed all your minds by now."

His smile deepened. "'What if there is a weapon that can harness all dimensions of human potential and all dimensions of esoteric technology simultaneously?'"

The leaders of humanity stiffened as he cleanly predicted their thoughts.

No, he had guided them in the direction of this thought by adjusting the presentation to make them naturally gravitate towards it.

He had done that for a reason.

"What if there is a weapon that can retain all the wonders of technology while simultaneously harnessing everything that human beings have to offer?"

Many leaders widened their eyes with shock as they finally understood why the Esoterist had gone down this particular rabbit hole.

There was no way that he would keep hammering down on this question unless he had an answer!

The ramifications of this implication were enormous!

The air tingled with anticipation as more and more people understood the sheer gravity of their inferences in regards to just where he was going with this. "What if I tell you that it is completely possible for a weapon to fully exploit all dimensions of human potential?" He smiled. "What if I tell all of you that not only is it possible, but that I have already successfully created a weapon that harnesses the entirety of human potential without sacrificing technological potential?"

He waved his hand as several projections lit up.

They were projections of strange mechanical contraptions that earned the confusion of all those who beheld it. The strange mechanical contraptions that the projection displayed were… humanoid in shape. They even possessed a bizarrely humanoid head atop a humanoid torso with four humanoid limbs emerging from it.

The designs of the strange machines featured a cavity in the torso of the humanoid machine.

A cavity that was occupied by a human.

"Behold, leaders of human civilization." The Esoterist grinned with excitement. "Behold the future of Martial Art! Behold my Mechanical Engine-Core Humanistic Armor!"

His grin widened. "Or MECHA, for short."

The Human Summit erupted in shock at the sheer magnitude of this revelation!
