Chapter 2851 Peace in Oqia, Eminent Chaos in Uzira
Chapter 2851 Peace in Oqia, Eminent Chaos in Uzira
After Kendrick's appointment to represent his father, the guild entered a new period, with the weakening of the Council and the strengthening of the Stuart Family faction.
But the Elders didn't oppose what they themselves had agreed to by voting in favor of First Elder Juma's nomination. As soon as they appointed Kendrick to take absolute command of the guild in Minos' absence, the Elders decided to focus on something else: their plans for Uzira!
Leger and his group sat at headquarters, advising the Stuart Family and its members, not getting involved in the discussions of who would go with them to Uzira. Their ship was enormous and any number that would accompany them would be adequate.
The group of Hell Lifelings would mostly return to Uzira, but two of them would stay behind to serve the family's interests.
As such, the conversations remained only between the Council of Elders, the Commander, and the new general leader.
As expected, Navey and some of his supporters, who had previously stood against Kendrick, wanted to leave for Uzira. They obviously wanted to take advantage of the opportunities on the continent and to put some distance between them and Kendrick.
Kendrick would naturally stay behind to lead the guild from his headquarters, so those who had stood against them wanted to leave. But even those who had sided with him or even remained neutral in the previous dispute wanted to proceed on to Uzira.
Uzira was the most powerful place in Zocarro, where one could even reach the 13th stage. None of these powerful and ancient experts could ignore the possibilities of that continent.
The group then decided, weeks after the arrival of the Hell Lifelings at headquarters, that six Elders would join Leger's group to go to Uzira.
Navey and three of his allies from the previous affair would go with the group, while Segiel's mistress and Klaus, the Tenth Elder, would also go to Uzira when Leger's group left.
To compensate for the decrease in the number of Elders at headquarters, Segiel would be promoted to the position of Elder and a new individual would become Commander of the guild.
Kendrick nominated his wife, Grisdi, for the position of Commander, while one of the Generals loyal to the family in the previous dispute would be appointed Elder, accounting for 6 Elders remaining at the headquarters after the group's departure in a few weeks.
Besides these six Elders who would leave, each of the Elders could take with them another 3 guild members of their choice. Minos faction would send 20 people, half of them family members, half loyal subordinates.
Among the family members leaving were Lily, her maternal grandmother, Oswald, and others of Minos' relatives. Naturally, Lily's dragon would go with her, while Minos' other children would stay at headquarters.
There were still many of their relatives to leave the Spiritual World and The Adamant Land, so they intended to keep Oqia as their major post, where they should endeavor to welcome their people.
With the numbers decided, after almost two months at headquarters, Leger would begin the journey back to the west coast of Oqia, leaving Armhands' headquarters calmer and under the control of the Stuart Family.
It wasn't exactly Minos' goal to take control of the guild, but it made sense for the family of the guild's strongest member to take on this role.
All of his and his wives' subordinates chose this path, unconcerned about how the now former Supreme Leader Jalai would react when he ended his seclusion and found out about the guild's current situation.

"We're finally alone..." said Grisdi to Kendrick as the two of them lay on an enormous bed in the bedroom of the new residence they had been given.
"How will things be from now on?" she asked, as she enjoyed the recent tranquility. "Peaceful, I'd say," Kendrick said, not seeing how his troublemaker father would disturb their peace now. "The continent is in the best moment since the war against Firestone Mines ended. The guild hasn't lost power, even though six of our Elders have left, and we're getting stronger."
Looking into her eyes and massaging one of his wife's cheeks, he said, "Now we just have to wait for the rest of our family members to come to Zocarro from our planets. When we have one of our relatives with the power to take over our position, we'll go to Uzira, or even to the Upper Realm."
"Upper Realm?" she smiled as she asked. "That's ambitious."
"I believe my father will get there sooner than we can imagine. In any case, I intend to travel with you to Uzira and other powerful places after we retire from our role with the guild. We'll finally be able to use our lives to travel and see more of the universe."
"That sounds good to me." She kissed him, smiling and showing her perfect white teeth.
...
Meanwhile, somewhere around the Awakening Peak in Uzira...
A spatial distortion altered, making the air seem as if it would fall apart, when a human hand, clear, and feminine, crossed space, cutting through it before appearing in this place.
The pressure of the laws and energy in the vicinity changed completely with the appearance of this figure, with the undead wandering the area realizing that someone far superior to them was present. These creatures prostrated themselves towards her, putting aside their chaotic and violent ways to make way for the creature from Hell, bearing a Hell Crown and 13th stage cultivation.
From her position, this figure, with long white hair and an appearance as young as that of a beautiful woman in her prime, looked at her surroundings and smiled, thrilled to be back after progressing to level 125.
'I'm back, Minos. Are you still here? Have you already returned from your journey?' She wondered about the person she had been thinking about the most lately, before seeing a member of the local royal family, her enemy, in the distance.
Mylecent changed her expression to a malicious, determined look, before glancing in the direction of the kingdom's capital.
'Eternal Death, prepare for the rebels' counter-attack!'
With that thought, Mylecent disappeared, heading for a place only she knew, leaving her silent promise in the air.
