What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 888 It's The Ifrit Again

Mother seemed absolutely over the moon when I climbed back out of the hole.

"Ufufufu~ As expected of my little one~ You managed to make them all submit to you~" She giggled.

I pouted at Mother, "What do you mean by that, Mommy?"

"Ufufufu~ There were at least a dozen of them in there, my little one, and you managed to make all of them call you 'Mistress'~"

"I mean… I was just concentrating on eating the sweets… It's not like I meant to do that in the first place…" I protested.

"Ufufufu~ Doesn't that make you more impressive, my little one?"

I didn't know what to say so I turned back to look inside the hole.

Inside the hole was a whole mass of tails and the Pitfall Lamias all in blissful unconsciousness.

I say 'blissful' because they all had smiles despite being asleep.

"Just curious… What did Mommy do?" I asked.

Mother giggled, "Ufufufu~ My little one has already guessed, haven't you? Why don't my little one make a guess and Mama will say if you got it right?"

"You… Ermm... Splattered them with sweets, locked them in place and increased their sensitivity levels?"

Mother pulled me into a hug, "Ufufufu~ As expected my little one! That is completely correct!"

"Where did Mommy get the sweets though?"

"Ufufufu~ That's a secret~"

"Can Mommy create sweets out of nothing?"

Mother smiled at me, "Ufufufu~ Mama is afraid that Mama can't exactly create sweets out of absolutely nothing, my little one. The sweets that my little one ate just now were summoned from somewhere else~"

Ok… I was not expecting that answer… Because that means that Mother actually has a large amount of sweets stored somewhere that she could just summon anytime she wanted to.

I don't know if I should be concerned or excited about that fact.

Deciding that it would be better for me not to know the answer to that, I went ahead to slip my hand into Mothers and started moving us away from the hole.

Mother didn't even protest and merely giggled at my attempt to dodge the issue and followed behind me quietly.

One thing I want to say though… There seems to be a lot more Monster Girls here on this floor as compared to the other floors we passed through earlier.

And that's not mentioning that we've already come across two traps as well.

I looked around the forest, wondering where I should lead us next.

Deciding to just continue 'forward', we went past the hole and I only managed to move a few metres forward before Mother tugged on my arm again.

Really?! Is this place just full of Monster Girl traps or something?! Did this guy just set up this floor to be this obnoxious?!

If I find this Off-Worlder, I'm going to give him a good slap across the face just for this!

I tried to look around the area in front of me to look for the trap, but this time the trap came to us instead in the form of a familiar Monster Girl that came flying down to land in front of us from the canopy above.

It was the Ifrit girl we met earlier that tried to burn everyone outside the Dungeon.

Well… I think it's her, since I don't know if all Ifrits look the same and this was actually another Ifrit.

My question was answered when she spoke up, "So you really came in to challenge the Dungeon. I thought you might be lying…"

Mother giggled, "Ufufufu~ Why would we lie to you?"

"Just to stop me from burning everyone outside?"

"Ara, ara? If we really wanted to stop you from burning them, we wouldn't need to ask politely~"n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

The fire around the Ifrit flared, "Are you saying you can defeat me?"

"Ufufufu~ Of course~ If you want my little one to conquer you and make you her little pet, feel free to ask~"

Eh? Are we really going to fight her?

The Ifrit turned to narrow her eyes at me, "You? You think you are my match?"

Ok, I guess I'll just do this then…

I took a step forward, raised my hand in the air, and then slapped her in the face.

She had the same look of surprise as the Arachnid girl from earlier and it took her a few seconds to process what had happened to her.

She turned back and her fire flared once more, the ground beneath her set alight from the heat that she was radiating out from her anger.

I didn't even hesitate and simply used [Water Ball] to coat my hand with a layer of water before giving her a backhanded slap across her other cheek.

She recovered faster this time and tried to raise her fist that she charged up with fire to punch me but then Mother suddenly moved forward to catch her wrist with her bare hands.

The heat from the Ifrit immediately disappeared and the Ifrit looked down at her hand in surprise as her previously roaring flames seemed to have been sucked away to leave only embers behind.

Before she could even process what happened though, my hand came flying back to slap her across the face again.

Your adventure continues at empire

Mother even let go of her wrist to allow the Ifrit to stumble back from the blow, the both of us taking a step forward at the same time to catch up to her.

The Ifrit turned back her fire flaring up again, "How dare you! Not even my Master has treated me with such disrespect! I will burn you with impu--"

I slapped her, cutting off her speech.

She lunged forward, her hands reaching out to grab my throat in an attempt to strangle me.

I spun Mother and myself around, causing both of our tails to swing out and slam against the Ifrit's side and fling her back to crash against a tree.

Interestingly, the tree did not burn so it might be immune to burning?

The Ifrit let out a growl before she raised her hand and fire gathered in her palm in the shape of a spear.

Her eyes burned and she took a moment to roar at me before tossing the fire spear straight towards me.

I was thinking about avoiding it but Mother reached out her hand towards the spear so I just relaxed and let Mother handle it.

She ended up catching the fire spear in midair and twirled it around her hand as though to show the Ifrit that her fire was completely useless.

Mother then brought up the spear that was made of literal fire and snapped it in half in between her fingers before tossing it back at the Ifrit's feet, the broken fire spear left burning for a while before it suddenly disintegrated into just pure fire.

That is so cool… I wanna be able to break fire into pieces like that too…

The Ifrit, still not realising that she was basically being made fun of by Mother right now, tried to attack again by using two spears.

I guess she saw that we were holding hands the entire time, it must mean that we might be stronger while maintaining contact or something so she thought attacking both of us at the same time might be to her advantage.

Unfortunately for her, Mother simply snatched both spears out of the air without a problem and did the exact same thing where she snapped them in half before tossing it back at the Ifrit's feet.

The Ifrit floated up into the air, "You really want to do this, huh?! Then don't blame me for this either!!"

Both Mother and I stopped to watch her create a ball of fire in the air which grew in size steadily over time.

We ended up needing to watch her charge up the fire ball for a good long minute until it reached the size of a giant boulder before she tossed it towards us.

Mother looked at me, indicating that I should be the one to deal with this instead.

I had a moment to consider how I wanted to protect us from the giant fireball when a rather stupid idea came to mind. I decided to just go with that as I found it to be rather amusing.

Thus… I opened a portal in front of Mother and I, its size more than big enough to let the fireball pass through.

The exit was placed… Err… Directly above the Ifrit.

She saw her fireball disappear inside the portal and was just about to let out what I assume were insults at us when her own fireball came crashing down on top of her.

All she had time for was to let out a yelp of surprise before the fireball exploded on top of her, sending smaller balls of fire flying in all directions.

Protecting Mother and I was relatively easy as all I had to do was to redirect them away with my Aeromancy.

When the dust cleared, we found the Ifrit still laying down on the floor, looking more surprised than hurt.

She probably finally realised that we were pretty much just toying with her this entire time.

She saw me enter her peripheral vision and she turned to utter a single word, "Why?"

Well, geez I don't know, girl… Maybe because you thought that everyone else was beneath you so we just had to prove to you that you're wrong?
