Chapter 156 Epiphany
"Hey, Kai," Muchen suddenly called out as Kai appeared. When he went a few miles away, Kai thought about it. If all the strong peak Immortal Realm beings appeared and he was the only one missing, it could lead to them suspecting him.
First off, if he was found, he had no doubt that after this ruin, he would be taken away by the higher-ups. For now, they shouldn't know about it. Besides, their aura was different, and there was no way for them to trace him to that demon.
"Hey, Muchen," Kai greeted back as the peak powerhouses all turned to look at the new arrival.
"Hehe, no one knows who did this, but damn, the strength is crazy strong," Muchen said excitedly.
"Yeah, I felt that terrifying aura from afar. The strength must be incredible," Kai replied.
"Yes, as strong as we all were before we died," Muchen said, making everyone frown.
Everyone felt there were secrets they were yet to uncover. First, the ruin didn't collapse under that aura, meaning it was capable of withstanding that level of cultivation. But why were only Immortal Realm experts allowed to enter?
Also, what kind of being was that? The aura wasn't chaotic—no, it was like It was chaos itself.
"Well, staying here won't solve anything. We should go, don't you think?" Yu Ze suddenly said. The rest thought about it and started moving back.
"Ha, so this is your plan to hide because no one can trace your aura?" Su Bal thought as he moved away with Li Hai.
Seeing so many peak Immortal Realm beings made Li Hai frown. These Immortal Clan members were all immensely strong.
"Brat, that being is among you all," the old man suddenly said.
"Huh? Who is he? Tell me," Li Hai said hurriedly.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
"I'm sorry, I can't pinpoint him," the old man replied.
"Why?" Li Hai asked.
"The aura disappeared," the old man said. Li Hai sighed but made a mental note of the faces of most of the peak Immortal Realm beings.

Back at the giant hole, Bloodt8 grinned. He was quite surprised by what had just happened, but he wasn't about to lose sight of what he was here to do. With a smile, he said, "I'm back."
"Oh, you didn't die," a voice said.
"Your wish didn't come true—too bad," Bloodt8 laughed as he started drawing the runes.
"Boy, do you want power?" the voice asked.
"Ha, are you the only one there?" Bloodt8 asked.
"I'm the only one awake," the voice replied.
"It's not too late. I suggest you sleep too, so you'll die without regrets," Bloodt8 said.
"Boy," the voice called out.
"The power you asked for—I'll take it by making sure you all die," Bloodt8 said.
"Good... good. For the countless years I have lived, you are the only one who dares to threaten me," the voice said angrily.
"Threaten you? I think you're mistaken. I'm going to kill you. Enough talking," Bloodt8 said and closed his eyes.
The voice kept echoing, but Bloodt8 ignored it as his speed at drawing the runes increased.

"At this point, you have to go back," Montel said indifferently. His entire aura changed. The First Sequence frowned and moved back.
"You dodged this... next time, I'll be serious and kill you," Montel said. The First Sequence's frown deepened. She looked at where she had been standing earlier, her face shrinking in shock.
It was as if the space there had been separated from reality. She would have been trapped until she died.
Looking up, Montel had disappeared.
"Damn it," the First Sequence said angrily and punched the ground.
Boom.
The ground collapsed, vaporizing out of existence.
"They won't be happy with this," the First Sequence thought before disappearing.

"Well, did you catch anyone?" Muchen asked when he and Kai were far from the others.
"No... but I will now," Kai said with a slight smile, making Muchen look at him strangely.
"Alright then... knock yourself out," Muchen said as Kai nodded and picked a direction.
Muchen shook his head and found a comfortable spot to rest.
"Sigh... Kai should hurry up. The number of those small sect members is reducing," Muchen said as he closed his eyes and sat cross-legged.
Floating slightly, he meditated. He noticed the reduced numbers. There were still many, but compared to the crowd he saw when they first entered, a lot of people had either died or were trapped somewhere.
Time passed. Montel searched for what he had come for. Yu Ze and Gu Zhi hunted for treasures. Bloodt8 focused on drawing his runes. During this time, Kai managed to eliminate many small sect members.

Early in the morning...
A female with three fox tails stood, looking at the ruin.
"The real ruin opening is about to happen," Foxy Tail said with a smile.
It was the third day, and they knew different ranks would soon be able to enter, up to the Immortal God King level.
This meant their guardians would enter with them, making the ruin far more dangerous since no one would be left to protect them.
Rumble.
The ruin shook, signaling the third day. The few surviving small sect members prepared to leave.
Li Hai, having been guided earlier by the old man, had already acquired many treasures and improved his realm, reaching stage six of the Immortal Realm. His advancement was quick and smooth. The treasures he found were rich with energy.
He obtained equipment up to the Immortal Lord Realm. Everyone in his group was smiling.
Su Bal was the most impressed. The luck of this so-called darling of the world was incredible.
He gained more than he'd hoped for, and his cultivation was overflowing. He could break through to the next stage whenever he wanted.
Rumble.

"Hmm..." A groan escaped a bulky demon's mouth as his eyes opened. Around him was a large army.
No doubt, it was an apocalyptic view. However, at that moment, the two armies stopped and stared at the being before them.
"Jarvis, scan this creature," Iron Man said, his gaze fixed on the being as he gave the instruction.
"Who's this?" Captain America asked, his face streaked with traces of blood.
"Who cares..." Thor muttered before leaping into the air. Lightning struck the being.
"Wait!" Iron Man called, but it was too late.
Dust rose up, swirling in the aftermath, before finally settling. The being was gone.
"Collect the stones," Thor commanded as the Avengers prepared to attack when suddenly, a voice echoed.
"Too noisy," the Sword Demon said. He had already transformed into his human form.
A handsome young man stood before them.
The Sword Demon merely snapped his fingers, and beings began disintegrating.
In the end, only two other figures remained.
One was a being who had escaped to another realm and returned. The other was a bald, purple-skinned figure.
"Huh... interesting," the Sword Demon said, descending to the ground.
Though he had annihilated all other beings, these two intrigued him enough to spare them.
"What are you?" Thanos finally asked.
"Me?" The Sword Demon smiled faintly.
"You killed everyone?" Doctor Strange asked, his voice filled with shock.
"I'm nothing but merely a demon," the Sword Demon replied, chuckling lightly.
Beside him, six stones rested in a gauntlet.
"A demon?" Doctor Strange repeated, still in shock.
"It seems this is important," the Sword Demon said, glancing at the gauntlet.
Thanos and Doctor Strange swallowed hard. The reality was unsettling—this being had snapped his fingers, disintegrating every other life form apart from them. He hadn't even needed the gauntlet to achieve it.
Now, the question lingering in their minds was: What would happen if he used the gauntlet?
The thought was too terrifying to contemplate.
"Well, let's find out what's going on," the Sword Demon said, stretching out his hands.
In an instant, both Doctor Strange and Thanos appeared before him.
He placed a hand on each of their heads, performing a soul search.
Finally, he understood what had happened from both of their perspectives.
"Quite interesting," the Sword Demon said with a laugh.
By peering into their memories, he felt as though he had experienced it all firsthand.
The gauntlet hovered in mid-air as the Sword Demon released their heads. Both figures collapsed to the ground.
With a curious expression, the Sword Demon slid the gauntlet onto his right arm and snapped his fingers. Stay updated through empire
---Rumble---
Suddenly, all the beings killed by him came back to life.
Even Doctor Strange and Thanos, who had died during the soul search, returned.
Snapping his fingers again, time froze. Only the three of them remained unaffected.
"Now, I want to hear your thoughts about life," the Sword Demon said with a grin.
While searching their memories, he had sensed the faint glimmer of a breakthrough.
This was his opportunity. How could he let it slip away?
With nervous and confused expressions, Doctor Strange spoke first, followed by Thanos.
Wearing the gauntlet, the Sword Demon peered into the future.
He saw the Avengers' ultimate demise, the consequences of their actions, and countless possible futures. He foresaw their journey to the past and Captain Marvel's imminent arrival.
With a sigh, the Sword Demon felt an epiphany approaching.
This war and the battles had shown him something profound.
"That war..." the Sword Demon muttered, using the Time Stone. Both Doctor Strange and Thanos witnessed glimpses of the future.
All possible outcomes were laid bare—the Soul Stone, the Reality Stone, and especially the Power Stone were utilized.
Through this, the Sword Demon realized one truth: everything has an origin. Sword intent wasn't the ultimate source—there was something far greater.
