My Farm System: Reaching The Top In The Parallel Earth!

Chapter 362 Supporter Rezen

"Alright, I will definitely not let you die" Rezen agreed. He knew how high the risk was because of his plan and there would definitely be many casualties.

If Rezen were to inform everyone in the camp now, they might be ordered to retreat considering that they would just be throwing their lives away when facing such a powerful enemy.

Even if Junior Mages are weak, it's not like they cannot contribute to the war and would be treated as worthless trash that could be sacrificed at all times.

When senior rank beings clashed, the one that had the support of more and stronger junior rank allies would undoubtedly win if they had roughly the same level of power.

However, with Rezen's plan, he would leave these people in the camp blind.

"Send the message to the Headmaster to send a Senior Mage reinforcement as soon as possible" Rezen said.

The risk lies in this part. The magic beasts have the numerical advantage when it comes to Senior Rank combatants. As such, all Senior Mages are busy fending off against the magic beasts at the same rank.

Since there is only one Senior Rank beast inside the resource point, the academy might not take it too seriously and instead focus on areas with more of higher ranking beasts with no manpower to spare.

If no Senior Mage was assigned before the magic beast attack... this camp... will definitely be annihilated!

Fortunately, Treen is here. Rezen doesn't believe that with how the Headmaster cherished her lover, she wouldn't be able to spare at least one Senior Mage

"Alright, alright, I will do it" Treen said with a sigh, wishing that this war would end as soon as possible.

"[Black War Aura!]"

Rezen placed his magic wand in front of him and a black-colored magic circle formed as he unleashed a magic spell that he learned recently.

From his magic circle, three beams of darkness flew out and entered the bodies of three mages who were being overpowered by magic beasts of the same rank as them.

As soon as the beams of darkness entered their bodies, the mages suddenly released a black aura that enhanced both their physical strength and also the lethality of their magic. If the were to use darkness-type magic, the increase would be even greater compared to the other elements.

The [Black War Aura] is a new magic spell that Rezen deliberately learned for the plan that he soon would implement. With his higher realm, it has become easier for him to learn magic spells than before.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

When one is standing at a higher elevation, it has become easier to see the world. The same is true for magic.

The higher your rank is, the easier it is to use and learn magic.

"If I studied a sun-type magic spell, I would definitely be able to learn it faster and the effects are surely greater" Rezen thought as his affinity for solar attributes was the highest.

That was also the reason that aside from the basic [Borg] and the handy [Crow Illusion Substitution], his attack spells are solar-type.

However, for his plan to achieve great merits in the war, it was the element of darkness that would play a crucial role. Hence, the enhancing spells that he deliberately learned were of the darkness type.

"Thank you, Rezen!" The three mages that received the buff thanked him without looking at him.

It can't be helped, they are currently engaged in a fierce battle with the magic beasts and even a little bit of carelessness could result in their demise.

"Hehe, you are not the only one that can do that! Watch me!" Treen who was standing beside Rezen said confidently as he raised his magic wand.

"[Blazing Aura!]" he cast and soon, a fire-red magic circle was formed below one of the human mages.

The magic spell was activated and this mage also received a buff albeit a much weaker one compared to Rezen's spell.

While Rezen can buff three people in one casting and the buff was also superior, Treen can only do it for one person and the enhancement was also inferior but he was still very proud. Feeling like he was contributing to the war greatly.

Due to Treen's fear of death, he decided to stick to Rezen for his own survival. As such, Rezen was unable to position himself deep into the frontlines again.

Fortunately, he has always been flexible and his 'military command' is recognized by everyone in the camp. He can stay in the rear while providing effective support without anyone being dissatisfied.

He was also a great support after all. He conserved his mana and only used magic when buffing allies on the brink of losing or using weak magic but with a low mana cost to prevent an ally from dying.

He was the epitome of a support-type mage when he put his mind to it.

"Don't lower your guard" Rezen said in a whisper, his nerves were tense. Considering that there was a Senior Beast hiding in the dark, they did not have room for carelessness.

Despite Rezen choosing not to flee but rather stay despite the danger, he was also extremely wary.

This was also one of the reasons why he let Treen stick to his side while staying in the rear. Most probably, when the Senior Beast appears, those that are in front would suffer casualties first.

If it comes to that, Rezen would have more time to save himself by staying in the rear.

The war goes on, this has already een happening for days and everyone is used to the constant battle. What they can't get used to is the constant deaths of their friends and families

"Damn it! Damn it! That barbarian, how can he be this strong?! Whether in combat or support, he was always being praised! I can't take this anymore!"

Inside one of the tents, the ever-jealous Quard was seething with anger. His family was also well off and despite not being high cycle Junior Mage, he also has his own tent.

The more time that passes, the more he is a witness to his inferiority to Rezen and although he doesn't admit it, deep down, he knows that he could never catch up to that monster.

"This wouldn't do! The two of us are already enemies. If... if... if he becomes a Senior Mage soon..."

"No! My family also has a Senior Mage. He can't kill me! But... what if... what if"

With Rezen reaching the 8th cycle of the Junior Rank, it wouldn't be long before reaching the peak.

While there is a huge chasm between Senior and Junior ranks and few that reached the peak of the Junior Rank can cross the barrier to become a Senior Mage, with the talent that Rezen was showing, it does not seem impossible for him to succeed.

If it's only that, Quard is not afraid. His family also has Senior Mages. Becoming an enemy of one is dangerous but not enough for the danger to reach the extreme.

However, Rezen is still very young yet he would soon reach the peak of the Junior Rank. With such talent and time, he has a high chance of becoming a Senior Mage and if he did, he might also become a powerful mage compared to others within that realm.

If... if in the off chance that he was to surpass the power of Quard's ancestors... he shuddered just by thinking about it.

"Kill! I must kill him before he can become a threat!"

Quard started biting his nails due to anxiety. He wanted to kill Rezen badly but his personal power was simply too weak to be able to do that. Find your next read at empire

If he were to try to do anything, instead of killing Rezen, he might be the one that would get killed. He doesn't want that to happen as he still has a bright future ahead of him.

"If... if I cannot kill him personally then I must have other people do it. Rezen, as a barbarian, coming into the City of Hope of trying to achieve great things was your life's biggest mistake!"

"I wouldn't let you live for long. I might not have the power to kill you but I have the connections and the wealth to have others do it for me!"

With great resolve, Quard waited for the darkness of the night to arrive before sneakily walking out of his tent. He searched for the people he knew who could do his dirty work for him.

With him being a wealthy Young Master and with mages needing a vast amount of resources, with some even resorting to dirty and underhanded means, it was not hard for him to find people who could do his dirty bidding.

As an 8th-cycle mage, Rezen is powerful but it's not like in this camp, he was the strongest. There are also other mages that are surely stronger than him that could kill him silently!
