"Alright, I will definitely not let you die" Rezen agreed. He knew how high the risk was because of his plan and there would definitely be many casualties.

If Rezen were to inform everyone in the camp now, they might be ordered to retreat considering that they would just be throwing their lives away when facing such a powerful enemy.

Even if Junior Mages are weak, it's not like they cannot contribute to the war and would be treated as worthless trash that could be sacrificed at all times.

Since there is only one Senior Rank beast inside the resource point, the academy might not take it too seriously and instead focus on areas with more of higher ranking beasts with no manpower to spare.

If no Senior Mage was assigned before the magic beast attack... this camp... will definitely be annihilated!

Fortunately, Treen is here. Rezen doesn't believe that with how the Headmaster cherished her lover, she wouldn't be able to spare at least one Senior Mage

Rezen placed his magic wand in front of him and a black-colored magic circle formed as he unleashed a magic spell that he learned recently.

From his magic circle, three beams of darkness flew out and entered the bodies of three mages who were being overpowered by magic beasts of the same rank as them.

As soon as the beams of darkness entered their bodies, the mages suddenly released a black aura that enhanced both their physical strength and also the lethality of their magic. If the were to use darkness-type magic, the increase would be even greater compared to the other elements.

While Rezen can buff three people in one casting and the buff was also superior, Treen can only do it for one person and the enhancement was also inferior but he was still very proud. Feeling like he was contributing to the war greatly.

With great resolve, Quard waited for the darkness of the night to arrive before sneakily walking out of his tent. He searched for the people he knew who could do his dirty work for him.

With him being a wealthy Young Master and with mages needing a vast amount of resources, with some even resorting to dirty and underhanded means, it was not hard for him to find people who could do his dirty bidding.

As an 8th-cycle mage, Rezen is powerful but it's not like in this camp, he was the strongest. There are also other mages that are surely stronger than him that could kill him silently!
